Cookie policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

In short: this website sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics software and does not track you — which is why you will not see a cookie banner.

Below we explain exactly which technologies we do use, and when data is still shared with a third party.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way: they store information in your browser.

In Portugal, storing and reading these files is governed by Lei n.º 41/2004. Under that law, non-essential technologies require your consent. This consent requirement does not apply to strictly necessary and functional technologies that you activate yourself.

2. What we use: your language preference and your scroll position

We store two things in your browser, both purely functional: the language you choose on the Site and, for the length of your visit, how far you have scrolled down each page.

  • ·Name: lang
  • ·Technology: local storage (not a cookie)
  • ·Content: just a language code, such as "en" or "pt"
  • ·Purpose: to show the Site in your language straight away on your next visit
  • ·Retention: until you clear your browser data

This information contains no personal data, is not sent anywhere and cannot be traced back to you personally. It is a functional preference that you set yourself, and no consent is needed for it.

In addition, during your visit the Site remembers how far down a page you were, so that you return to the same spot when you go back.

  • ·Name: tsr-scroll-restoration (followed by a version number)
  • ·Technology: session storage (not a cookie)
  • ·Content: only the scroll position for each page
  • ·Purpose: to take you back to the same point on a page when you navigate back to it
  • ·Retention: until you close the tab or your browser

This, too, contains no personal data, is not sent anywhere and does not require consent.

3. Google Maps: only after you click

Our contact page includes two maps from Google Maps. On many websites, maps like these load automatically and send data to Google without visitors realising. We have deliberately chosen not to do that.

Instead, you first see a neutral placeholder with a button, and the map loads only when you click it. At that point your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google may set cookies and receive data, including:

  • ·your IP address;
  • ·information about your browser, device and screen size;
  • ·the page from which you requested the map;
  • ·data from your Google account, if you are logged in to one.

Google Ireland Limited is responsible for this processing, which is governed by Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We have no control over it, and we do not receive any data from the map ourselves.

Your consent applies only to the map you open, and only for as long as you keep that page open. We do not remember your choice: if you reload the page, the map is blocked again. If you never click, nothing is ever shared with Google.

Would you rather not connect to Google at all? Our address is listed on the contact page, so you can look up directions in your own navigation app.

4. Fonts and images

All fonts and images are served from our own website. Browsing the Site does not connect you to any external font or content services, so no data is sent to them either.

5. Links to WhatsApp and social media

The Site has buttons that take you to WhatsApp or to our social media pages. These are ordinary links: unless you click them, no connection is made with those services and none of their cookies are set.

If you do click, you leave our Site, and the terms and privacy policy of the service concerned apply.

6. Managing your choices

Because we do not set any tracking cookies, there is nothing for you to switch off. Even so, you remain fully in control:

  • ·You can remove your language preference by clearing this site's data in your browser.
  • ·You can withdraw your consent to a map simply by reloading the page.
  • ·In your browser settings you can block or delete cookies and local storage for all websites. The Site will still work normally; it simply will not remember your language choice.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever start using a service that does set cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent beforehand. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest change shown at the top.
